Abuse and attacks following the EU referendum

We are horrified by news of increasing abuse and attacks on migrants since the Brexit vote here in E17.

Be assured we stand with all those subject to abuse and attack and will continue to work to challenge all negativity about migrants here in Walthamstow.

If you have been the target of such an attack:

To report an attack on yourself, or an attack you have witnessed, download the Self Evident app:

We are keen to gather stories for monitoring and campaigning so if you are willing to share your story anonymously or openly, please let us know at the drop-in or by email

Through our Welcome to Walthamstow action, our opposition to racists and other activities, we challenge negativity about migrants in politics and the media. We are currently working with others to support the Borough to welcome Syrian refugees.
